Is "Ignorance" a boon or curse.
Ask google guys and they shall tell ignorance of others is a boon for us. For thats one of the ways in which they advertise their "google news" * through blogspot blogs (No offences meant here or elsewhere in the article, Dear Brin and Larry).

Wondering?... Let me explain how.
Have you ever checked the links column in the sidebar of the blogspots.

Links
Google News

--------------

1.)Around 30% of the blogs in blogger have the link column unedited and hence it looks as above.
2.)When coming to Indian blogs this percentage goes upto 60%.
3.)In blogs with minima and black minima background, this percentage is 70% (may be most of them are made by indians).
4.)20% of people who visit a blog generally clicks on Google News if it is unedited.Which turns out to be huge in numbers considering all the blogs in blogger.**

Hence google news is advertised to so many people and many of them click on the link and go to the google news website. Hence google gets an effective way of advertising their new product.

In todays age of information and internet all you need is a brilliant idea and Google guys for sure have got lots of such ideas. Khudos to Brin and Larry.
